I’m a freelance writer specializing in consumer finance, fitness and bridal, but I have researched and written about a plethora of other topics that have either piqued my interest or landed in my inbox through assignments. Because of this, I’m often the most interesting/annoying person at dinner parties.
My love affair with journalism began as co-editor of my high school’s newspaper. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in English from Michigan State University, I honed my craft as an editor and reporter at weekly newspapers and regional magazines. But it was through the flexibility and freedom of freelance writing that I truly found my voice.
After more than a decade living in Chicago, my husband and I returned our home state of Michigan in 2017. We’re happiest on the go and are always plotting our next adventure, near and far.
